Teen Tech Week

Teen Tech Week Wii Bowling Tournament
Monday, March 8, 4:30-6:00pm

Are you a Wii bowling champ at home? Come show off your skills at the library’s first Wii Bowling Tournament. Prizes will be awarded!

Sign up at the library or call (913) 441-2665 to reserve your spot for the tournament!

Teen Tech Week Fastest Texting Contest
Thursday, March 11, 4:30-5:30pm

Start doing your thumb push-ups. In the spirit of March Madness and Teen Tech Week, come show off your fastest fingers. Prizes will be awarded in several texting events!

Spring Break Henna Tattoo
Tuesday, March 16, 1-3pm

Show off a great henna tattoo just in time for spring.

Henna designs will remain on the skin, from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on how long the henna is allowed to set (normally 2-12 hours).

Permission slips are required to use henna during the event.

Teens without permission slips will not be allowed to participate. Pick up a permission slip at the library or download one here (clicking link will open a PDF file).

Gaming
Thursday, March  18, 1-3pm

Enjoy your spring break at the library for an afternoon of gaming. We’ll pull out the board games and play some fun new-to-you games. We’ll also have the Wii for wireless games.

Teen Writing Club
Thursday, March 25, 4:00-5:30pm (please note new start time)

The Writing Club is back. Learn how to create great stories and characters. Share your writing with other teens!

Any teen interested in writing is welcome to attend.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
