Reading Program for Children of All Ages.

  • Preschool story time Tuesdays at 10 or 11 am for 3-5 year olds

  •  Toddlers explore the world, Wednesdays at 10 am for ages 2-3

  • "Cuddle-Ups" Baby Story Time, Wednesdays at 11:00, ages 0-2

  • Fun Fridays, third Friday of each month at 11:00 a.m., ages 3-5
    (Please sign up at the Library!)

  • "The Reading Tree," third Thursday of each month at 4 p.m., ages 5-8

  • "Kidscape," first Thursday of each month at 4 p.m., ages 9-12

  • Special Story Time with Juggling Jeff Walker, Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 12 noon

  • Mighty Book  A literacy program for children--read along as a narrator reads the words to a book aloud. This site is entertaining with bright colors, music and action. The stories are graded to fit different age groups and reading skills.

  • Math Mastery Easy, fun math lessons to teach the fundamentals of math. Here children (and adults) can improve math skills with simple step-by-step lessons. Although this site requires money for taking the courses, there are several free games using math skills.

  • Lessons in music for for children and beginners. Interactive step-by-step lessons in music and music theory from the San Francisco Symphony's Kid's Web site. Another fun way to learn!

  • Open Directory for Kids and Teens A site with links to many fun and educational sites for young people
