National Library Week Bookmark Contest

Create your own story about the Bonner Springs City Library! Tell us your story about the library in pictures using crayons, watercolors, markers, charcoals or paint to create an original bookmark. (No computer generated images, please.) Make it wonderful and colorful!

Artists from preschool to age 18 are invited to participate. Details and entry forms will be available at the library beginning Wednesday, February 1. All entries are due by Wednesday, February 29.

Beginning March 8 – March 28, Library patrons will vote on their favorites and winners will be announced during National Library Week, April 8 to 14.

State Library Floating Playaway Collection

The Kansas State Library has created a floating collection of Playaway audiobooks to be placed at the Bonner Springs City Library.

Those audiobooks remain the property of the State Library but are available to Bonner Springs patrons for check-out or hold.

Kick-off summer reading with Mad Science and their amazing program Journey Around the World Through Scientist Eyes. Learn about scientists from different parts of the world and learn what “Sparked the Imagination” thanks to science and the experiments they experienced.
