Ellis Island Online If your family came to this country between 1892 and 1929, they may be on this database which includes more than 22 million passenger names, 70 percent of the immigrants who entered the U.S via Ellis Island in New York City. There were other ways to come into the U.S. at that time but this was one of the most used entryways.
